Walk With Sally, a non-profit organization in California, provides free mentoring and support for children of parents, guardians, or siblings who have cancer or have succumbed to cancer. Through their mentoring programs, they help children through what is a very difficult and confusing time in their lives.
Each year, Walk With Sally hosts a Bowl-a-Thon fundraising event to support their mission and fund their mentoring programs. As their 2021 event was approaching, they realized the current pandemic crisis was going to make it impossible to safely host the event as they have for many, many years. The solution? A virtual fundraiser with the TG Impact application.
To facilitate a virtual bowling tournament, the TG Impact App was reskined and customized to allow for a seamless fundraising event. After team meetings to establish the needs and concerns of all team members, modifications and development began and resulted in an effective fundraiser that was fun for all those involved.

The founder and CEO of Walk With Sally, Nicholas Arquette, joined the live stream once again at the end of the event to announce that they had raised a total of $105,000 for the organization. Shortly after the announcement, the Walk With Sally Team celebrated by dancing in a kick line, bringing their successful fundraising event to a spectacular end.
